Account Management

Learn how to create, sign in, and manage your Lines account.

Signing in backs up your library to the cloud and keeps it in sync across your devices. You can get into your account in a single tap with Google or Apple, or use your email.

How to Create an Account

  1. Open the Lines app and go to the sign-up screen
  2. Choose how you'd like to sign up:
    • Sign up with Google - tap “Sign up with Google” and pick your account
    • Sign up with Apple - tap “Sign up with Apple” and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode
    • Sign up with Email - enter your email, create a password (and confirm it), then tap “Sign up with Email”. We'll send a quick code to your inbox to confirm your address
  3. You'll be signed in and taken to the home screen

Lines remembers how you signed in

The next time you open the sign-in screen, the method you used last is marked with a “Last used” badge so you can get back in even faster. You can also continue without an account and sign in later.

How to Sign In to Your Account

  1. Open the Lines app and go to the sign-in screen
  2. Sign in the same way you created your account:
    • Google or Apple - tap the matching button to sign in in one tap
    • Email - enter your email and password, then tap “Sign in with Email”. Forgot your password? Tap “Forgot Password?” to reset it
  3. You'll be taken to your home screen with all your saved lyrics

How to Log Out of Your Account

  1. From the home screen, tap the gear icon () in the top-right corner to access Settings
  2. Scroll down to find the “Log out” option (displayed in red)
  3. Tap “Log out”
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear asking “Are you sure you want to log out?”
  5. Tap “Log out” to confirm, or “Cancel” to stay signed in
  6. You'll be returned to the welcome screen

How to Delete Your Account

Warning

This action cannot be undone. All your lyrics, progress, and account data will be permanently deleted.

  1. Open Settings by tapping the gear icon ()
  2. Tap “Data”
  3. Scroll to the “Danger Zone” section (highlighted in red)
  4. Tap “Delete Account”
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear warning you about permanent deletion
  6. Important: Remember to cancel any active subscriptions separately in the App Store to avoid future charges
  7. Tap “Delete” to confirm the deletion
  8. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed
  9. You'll be signed out and returned to the welcome screen
