What's the fastest way to get back on track after a blank?

Head for your chorus or hook. It's the most repeated, most over-rehearsed part of the song, so it's the section your automatic memory can run without conscious effort. Vamping or repeating a line buys you a bar or two to reset, and once the chorus comes around you're back on the rails. Building those re-entry points deliberately in practice is what makes the recovery feel automatic.

Can practicing under pressure really help me blank less?

It helps directly. If you only ever rehearse calm and alone, calm-and-alone becomes the only condition your recall is trained for. Practicing with mild distraction, in different rooms, standing up, or in front of one person narrows the gap between your practice context and the stage. The more your training resembles the real thing, the less the real thing disrupts your recall.
